When Danita Hinson saw an opportunity with MTB Mechanical, she didn’t hesitate to apply. Having previous experience working at an HVAC company, she was looking to get back into the field and was already familiar with the MTB name.
“I knew that MTB was family-owned and has been around for a long time,” Danita says. “To me, that means that the company is built on a strong foundation. And I had heard a lot of great things about working for them and how they take care of their employees.”
Danita joined MTB at the end of 2021 as a residential new construction coordinator. She likes the work environment and the on-the-ground training, being able to learn something new about her role and the HVAC field every day.
“It’s just a good atmosphere and the people are great,” Danita says. “You see that the owners are hard workers and dedicated. I have a lot of respect for them.”
Born and raised in Unionville, NC, Danita still calls it home today and likes that her family is close by. Being family-oriented and a mother to three girls, ages 22, 18 and (almost) 15, she is thankful that she found MTB and “loves working here.”
