Why an Energy Savings Agreement Just Makes Good Sense.

The morning chill was a good reminder that we will soon be turning on our heating systems. In fact, some of you may be running your heat already. Either way, right now is a great time to enroll in MTB Heating and Air’s Energy Savings Agreement Plan or ESA. The ESA is an annual maintenance agreement plan for your HVAC system. Enrolling in this plan is only $170 a year and is the best way to ensure that you save money in both the short and long term. Let me explain how.Heating and air systems are expensive and complex pieces of equipment. Just like your automobile needs routine maintenace, so does your HVAC system. Doing so enables you to get a better level of performance from your sytem and extends its life. An ESA agreement ensures that your HVAC system receives the proper level of maintenance… (2) annual tune ups; one on the heat cycle and one on the cool cycle. During a tune up, the necessary maintenance is performed on your furnace or air conditioner to ensure it will funtion at it’s optimum level for the season.
A tune up on the heat cycle will have your furnace in top shape for keeping your family warm this winter, reduce your monthly power bill and help your furnace last longer. A tune up also provides a technician an opportunity to locate any other potential problems and fix them before they become large, costly or dangerous. With gas heat, you are afforded a terrific level of comfort, however there is always the risk of possible carbon monoxide exposure. When properly maintained, a gas furnace is very safe. A yearly tune up on the heat cycle will provide you with the assurance that your gas furnace functioning safely and that you and your family are not at risk of carbon monoxode poisoning.
Routine maintenance provides you with peace of mind. You won’t have to worry about an equipment breakdown at the worst possible time. Anyone who has had their heating system go out on them during the winter or their air conditiner quit working during the peak of hot weather knows just how miserable that can be. The best way to avoid a breakdown is regular maintenance. An ESA agreement will ensure you stay comfortable all year long. In the event of any problem, ESA members receive priority service 7 days a week and in addition a 15% discount on any repairs when needed.
If you are an ESA member call MTB Heating and Air to schedule your fall tune up. If you are not currently a member of our ESA program, call us to join today and start saving now.
