It may be the Thermostat!

If your house is not staying as warm or cool as it should, you may have a problem with your thermostat. The termostat controls the temperature in your home and when it is not working correctly it makes it difficult for you to achieve and maintain the comfort level you desire. The thermostat is repsonsible for your air conditioning or heat kicking on to cool or warm your home.A broken thermostat is not uncommon. To determine if your thermostat is not working properly, adjust it to either 5 degrees cooler in the summer or 5 degrees warmer in the winter. Listen for your system to click on. If you do not ever hear the sytem click on, there is a problem. If your thermostat is one that requires batteries for operation, check to see if they need to be replaced. Next, check to make sure the wiring is not loose at the thermostat. If these simple fixes don’t work, call MTB Heating and Air. One of our technicians will get your thermostat working quickly so you can stay comfortable.
